Dear Udaya
My wife who is 48 years old is experiencing some sort of nail fungus which is affecting her toes and left hand ring finger. The nails first get hollow then loose skin contact underneath and afterwards turn black. I gave her silica 30 but it did not help much and she complaint of some skin rash after taking it. She is also using some homeopathic drops over the nails but to no vain. Please suggest some suitable remedies for her.
Regards

Zia

Right now if you want some additional help topically with nail fungus then I would suggest she bathes the feet in some slightly warm but not hot water with 3 teaspoons of proper Cayenne Pepper. Soak the feet for 15-20 minutes and then just dry not wash. To add extra effect then layer the feet in virgin coconut oil and leave or cover with old socks. The Cayenne is a master at removing dry skin and other crap as well as softening up. The VCO is a most excellent anti-fungal. This method will not cure your problem internally but it will certainly help combat the symptoms externally.

Dear Udaya
My wife has been taking Thuja 1M twice a month and Silicia 200 weekly as advised for her nail fungus problem involving big toes and left hand ring finger for the last two months. There has considerable improvement and the fungus was retarded upward but since last week she stopped taking the medicines, following which her ring finger fungus has come back. The fungus in big toes is little remaining , however, after discontinuing the medicines she is experiencing some pain in these nails. Should she continue the same medicines, if yes, how long? or would you like to introduce some other medicines as well? Kindly advice.
Best Regards

Zia

Dear Udaya
After three days of taking Sepia 30, Echinasia Q three times a day, and using Ledum Q externally, She is feeling more energetic, physically better and alert. These medicines have made her feel better in general with more stamina and without any body pains. However nails are not much targeted for improvement by these medicines. The previously taken remedies i.e., Thuja 1M, twice a month and Silica 200 once a week initially gave better results which were later exhausted.
Should she continue the current medicines and how long?
With best Regards

Zia

when Sepia milk should be avoided to get better results....the medicines can be continued for a week then repeated.... Silicea can be combined with these medicines or hepar sulph should be checked for symptoms.

She studied the symptoms of both Heber Sulph and Silica and found Silica to closely match with her symptoms. Can she take it in 200 once a week as before with these medicines? After one week when should she repeat the medicines ?

Silicea can be continued as before.....after one week it depends on how she responds to decide whether to repeat or not to repeat....in case there is remission, you have to describe her other symptoms fully and totally to arrive at a single medicine that remove the succesptibility to ulceration probably syphilinum 10M single dose....or above.....

Echinacea Q is causing flu like symptoms in her like sneezing, mild ruining nose etc . Should she discontinue it and take only Sepia and Silicia. Can she apply Echinacea Q externally instead?
Best Regards

Dear Udaya
She has taken Sepia 30 and Silica 200 for the period proposed. She feels Sepia improved the general well being and Silica is helping to control the nail fungus which however not yet completely eliminated. Her toe nails are almost cured however left hand ring finger nail is stubborn for complete cure probably due to frequent use in household work. Kindly advice.
Best wishes

Zia

May be you could use one single dose of Syphilinum 10M and then repeat silicea and sepia..addition of few doses of graphites may also be helpful if symptoms agree.......
