Is there any success in treating a child with this ailment? Not diagnosed as of yet, but has tachycardia. And we will be visiting a cardiologist this week.

If we start giving names the success cannot be verified. It is a preexcitation syndrome and should be dealt with on symptoms. The severety of the symptoms should be indicator and cure should not be far away. In its severety it should show arterial fibrilation, tachichardia, bradicardia, syncope, palpitation, low blood pressure and altered mental status including light headedness and panic/anxiety attacks. The medicines symptomatically should be Spigelia first and Digitalis if pulse rate is low. These two should certainly lead to cure in such cases, including cases of arrhythmia. Crataegus as tonic would be helpful. An initial doses of Thuja, Natrum Mur, Arnica, Phosphorus, Calcarea would also be useful as foundation. Usually the ailment is assymptomatic except for the major risk factor of sudden myocardic infarction.
