My milk cow has what appears t be mastitis in one quarter. There seems to be no heat in the bag or teat, but her milk is thick, so thick that I can't strain it. The quarter that is affected gives what appears to be good milk, then a "clump" of what looks like thick cream will come out. This A.M. milking, I only got 2 cups of milk where normally I get close to 1/2 gallon from that quarter. She has been milking for 9 months and is not bred back. What remedy should be given to help heal her?
